After leaving school Harriet completed an art foundation course at the college of Art and Technology at High Wycombe and then went on to study for three years (1986-89) at Studio Cecil-Graves in Florence Italy.
Apart from eight months painting still life commissions in Atlanta, Georgia. Harriet has painted from her studio in Stratton Audley, Oxfordshire where she lives with her husband and daughter.
